Its not as tough as a CDC GlassBack install
but you have to be on top of everything...

The shaker is cast aluminum and it has been painted before.
Rattle can is out of the question.
Etching primer is a must for the proper adhesion of paint to aluminum.
The black stands out and painted body color, it might disappear from view...

Polishing cast aluminum to shine like chrome is a very tough endeavor.
Plus its got a grainy casting finish that would take a long time to get
smooth and shiny like chrome...
Once you start, you are committed and should be committed (to da loony bin).
Protecting that freshly polished aluminum surface wll be needed right after
the polishing is done.
Raw aluminum corrodes quite fast when exposed to air....
Within minutes...
The protective layer thats formed stops this process but then
it dont shine like chrome anymore....

Well, Got the shaker system today in the mail. I was excited! The stated checking the parts list. Missing about 6 parts! Looks like the box was never opened. So I contacted the vendor and I also e-mailed CDC to let them know I got about 1/2 the kit. Hope this turns out well! Knowing my luck I will get the shaft!!!!!!!!!!
