NO more FRPP gears for V6s..
I was scheduled to get my gears installed this fri, until the shop called me to inform me of the bad news. Apparently FRPP stopped making gears for the 7.5 rear ends at least for the time being, I was going for the 3.73 and I haven't been able to find them locally and not better luck online! It seems that I'm either gonna have to bypass the whole thing or bite the bullet and give motive or richmond a try! any suggestions?

American Muscle has some in stock HERE
I don't think I have ever seen FRPP gears made for a 7.5 rear end. To my knowledge, Motive is the way to go for V6's with a 7.5 looking to upgrade to 3.73's.

Yeah we got a 7.5'' rear end. There are several guys on here with them, I jumped on the ship a lil too late. The guy at the shop str8 up told me to find the frrp! The motive's seem to be more complicated to install which leads to the dreaded gear whine. My search will continue throughout the night and if nothing them I will sleep on it...Anybody running Motive's care to chime in?

these seem to be to types of frrp gears one that end in part # A (frpp made by ?/) and prt# M made by motive! Most searches lead to stay away from Motive. I have read more bad then good but My choices are limited! Im hoping the shop locates some for me tomorrow, if not Ima see what type of guarantee they give me. I don't mind some noice but not over my exhaust system

Motive makes some FRPP Gears. However some FRPP gears are from normal Ford Production. You can tell by the part number.
The "A" Quote above only applies to 4.10 8.8 Gears. The 3.73 8.8 Ford Gears for instance are "N".
I know little or nothing about 7.5 gears. With the 8.8 the Fords are a lot easier because they are almost drop-in. If the axle tech will take the time to set them up correctly all the gears can be made quiet unless they have a manufacturing flaw. I bought FRPP Ford-Built gears for my 8.8 because I wasnt going to make my tech spend an extra 2 hours setting up Motives.
After you have seen my tech set up a set of high-mileage used gears to be dead quiet in another vehicle you become a believer its the installer not the gear.
PS If the shop you are using says they cant set-up Motives.... RUN! Dont walk to another shop. If on the other hand they say Motives will cost more to install... That is reasonable due to the extra set-up time.
