lol, well I've noticed (or it least it really seems this way) that the top half of the tank goes damn fast. The second half seems to go about half as fast.
I have no idea why it seems that way to me, but it does... Mine is my DD and I run about a tank every 6-7 days... Unless I gotta go somewhere other than work lol.

how far is your daily commute? run your care till your gas light comes on, put ten gallons in the tank, reset the trip odometer to zero, and run it till your gas light comes on again. Then just do some math. Take your trip odometer and divide by ten; for example, 250 miles = 25 miles to the gallon. i have noticed with ever modification that i have done my MPG have slightly risen. i went from getting 22 MPG stock to 25 MPG now

I do have the in-dash fuel calculator but I like to do it by hand. I just noticed this past weekend a message came up saying 50 miles to empty. Kind of cool that it counts down and I forget at what point, the instrument panel color will change to red.
Try filling your car up and write down what the mileage says. Next time you fill up subtract what your odometer says to what you have written down then take that number and divide it with the number of gallons you just bought. That will give you your mpg.
