Default Security?? Help! What is this?

I have no idea what this is. I think it is some kind of aftermarket securtiy feature. I bought the car new and it was already in here. Any help guys?

So you are saying you bought a new 2008 Mustang with that in there? Are you sure the car is not used?
It's definitely not an OEM part. I would ask who ever you bought it from.

Yeah, thats not a new car. Maybe very low miles used. What was the mileage when you got it?

As far as what it may be, I have no idea but definitely aftermarket. Id that a light on top or a switch/button? If its a switch/button press it and see what happens lol.

I bought it brand new from the dealership with 8 miles on it! It was brand new! It has a button on the back and a blinking red LED light on the front.

It's the James Bond eject button, and since your car is a left hand drive, the driver will bail out!

That makes no sense at all. I think someones been playing with the odometer lol. I see no reason why the dealer would install anything aftermarket, nevermind not tell you what it is... Carfax it.
