Default Intersting Mod. Thoughts?

I found this mod in an issuse of MM&FF and was wondering what you guys thought. I was thinking about doing it because i think it looks better a bit better than the shifters we have now. There are two things that are stopping me. The first is the cost. Small mod that seems rather expensive. The other is kinda of the like the idea of putting shelby badges on our cars. You know false advertising. Just my thoughts. I want to hear yours.
Thanks

If you've got an auto, get a cool auto shifter like the TCI. This just looks sorta lame to me, and not at all convincing.

Anyone with a real manual wouldn't put up with a boot that looks like a full pastry bag from one of those cake decorating shows.

don't do it man. rock what you got. the S197 auto shifter is pretty snazzy looking. You could have that nasty looking auto shifter I had in my 03 GT...fugly

if you are going to get a different shifter, do the TCI so it's purtier and more functional
