Sure, 305 hp is nice, but 365 is even better!

It would be nice but I think the price tag would have gone up along with it. As it is the v6 is going to be poking around the 30K mark in most cases. Also, I'm not a mechanical expert on the matter, but I think the 3.5 is designed for FWD applications. Applying it to a RWD drivetrain takes some doing and can change the performance of the engine in the process, . . . I think. lol

nope the taurus is awd
and its also a 50k car
so ur guess that the price would go up is def accurate
and it also kinda ruins the whole cheap/not too much power for a kid/low (comparatively) insurance rate thing

Yes it is AWD but the motor is mounted in the car like a FWD and mated to a transaxle. For instance, the Fusion has an AWD option too.

The Base or the SE model comes with the Duratec 3.5 which is pushing 250 HP and 240 ft lbs of torque. I think the 3.7 in the 2011's is a perfect fit

lol it cool for the V6 owners, but I can't imagine Ford selling a GT with barely 50 more hp than the V6.

365 would be nice but come on guys, a mustang is a true enthusiast's car its good they left them n/a that way we have more room to do mods, besides i'd take a roots blower over a tt any day for the torque, and im sure companies are gonna jump on this like never before

That would have been competing with Ford V8 Mustang 5.0... And yea it probably would have been more then the GT too.
