Default Help with replacing the license plate light

I need to replace my license plate light but when I go to loosen up the two screws that hold on the light cover they just keep spinning without coming out. All I am successfully doing is stripping the two screws. I tried putting my arm in the back of the screws by laying down and reaching up but my arm is too big. I was thinking it might need to be held in the back to get it to loosen up. Hope this isn't a stupid question but I got pulled over twice for the light being too dim so any help would be nice. Thank you in advance.

tHEY ARE NOT SCREWS.
fricken caps locks.
Seems you need help reading the owners manual as well...
They are push pins.
Pull the center out and the body will follow.
Use a phillips to reinstall them.

bEWARE AS pUSHpINS ARE ABOUNDING IN YOUR s197 mUSTANG.
FRICKEN CAPS LOCK...

I figured out that they arent screws the other day. I just tried unscrewing them and they kept spinning so I just propped a flat head between the bumper and light, it will pop right out.
