2011 mustangcoupe. im just wonering if i replace the light switch to one with auto feature if it will work. i have the little red ball on the dash. I found a fog light that includes the switch with fog and auto settings.

If you get the SmartJunctionBox reprogrammed
with the autoheadlight logic by a dealership as well.

Its not a plug n play thing anymore.
The days of the computer controlled vehicle systems is upon us with a vengence...

I don't mean to contest 157dB on my first post, but this particular feature DOES become available simply by replacing the switch. Even if you don't have auto headlamps, the gauge cluster automatically brightens and dims based on light conditions outside. I added the switch on my 2010, and the auto head lamps feature is instantly available. I also know several 2011 owners and the same is true for them.

157 - your right about needing reprogramming 99% of the time. Ford made it easy on us this *one* time.
