I think they heat treat im not postive. Then theres a run down old factory thats been closed for along time thats all rust and i was wondering if the wind could be blowing rust off the buildings

I know what you are talking about, it is called industrial fallout. Use a clay bar like mentioned above and it will come off, but take your time, set aside a while to wash, clay bar, wash again, then wax.

Is it only near your house it happens? I would use a car cover for when youre home, may be a pain in the *** but it'll save your car.

Im going to try to clay bar it tomarow (tuesday) couple of questions.
1. does it matter if i buy it at walmart or autozone? i get a discount at walmart cause i work there.
2. which brand clay bar should i use and what wax should i finish with
3. I dont have much shade at my house so will clay baring it in the sun and heat affect the outcome?

No it doesn't matter where you buy it from, Mothers and Megiuars is a good choice for claybar. NXT Tech wax is what I use but its kind of pricey, you can go with Mother's carnauba wax is good, I'm not sure about the heat but if it says not to don't I'm sure it says that for a reason, it has something to do with the body being hot. I would do it at dawn or dusk.

I work at Mothers, I have a Vista Blue Stang.....you can buy a new car of the lot and still needs clay......

This is what I use, first buy Dawn dish soap....

Wash Ride

Then

Mothers Clay Bar 07240

The Following 3 Items are a 3 Step System....
Pre Wax Cleaner 07100
Sealer Glaze 08100
I prefer the Paste Wax.....05550

Get some Microfiber Applicator Pads and Microfiber Towels.....

mothers.com

This is what I used.......as long as you do this once a year or so and keep waxing after washing....(not with Dawn).....also for where work, get a car cover.....

just my .02

Their are many other products, but this is what I used on my Vista Blue 2006...excellent for dark colors....
