Default got some grinding going on

so on my usual trip from baton rouge to houston i noticed something new this trip. whenever i downshift to 3rd to pass the idiots going 20 under in the left lane. then, as i shift back into 5th, whether skipping straight into 5th or going to 4th then 5th, there is an ever so slight grinding noise. this wont happen at 60 mph, only at like 75+. im not disengaging the clutch improperly or too early or anything like that. so any ideas?

Mine does that sometimes but its usually due to me not engaging/ disengaging the clutch correctly. How many miles do you have? Is it possible your clutch is going and have you ever changed your tranny fluid?

Thats odd, but that has happened to me before as I have stated above and I have 44k. Are you hard on that clutch?

I learned how to drive manual on my car back in 06 and I killed that thing, I'm at 44k now and I'm pretty rough and I beat it no problems . But if it goes just an excuse to get a better clutch .
