I've read that true duals will get you the most power gain. Check out the V6 project car video on American Muscle's website.

I beg to differ. My Y piped duals sound alot better then the Dynomax true duals just for one comparison, my friend has them and I get compliments all the time that my car doesn't sound like an oridnary V6 with exhaust.

Saying that your "duals" sound better is an opinion, not a fact. Now, it was also an opinion when I said that the x pipe sounded better, but I just wanted to make sure you understood that just because you and your friends like the sound doesn't mean everyone else does. Not knocking your car or your sound (I actually like your sound), but I still maintain that an x pipe would be better. But hey, if you like yours better than an x pipe, that's all that matters.

I see what you are saying, just saying you don't necessarily need an x-pipe because performance wise the gains are minimal if at all.

H pipe supposedly has a better sound but doesn't flow as nicely

To me, an H pipe sounds better, but a mechanic told me that an H pipe on a v6 would cost you a little torque. V6s don't have enough torque as it is, so paying to have even less seems pointless. Now, if you already have a CAI w/tune and some steeper gears or something, I am sure it would be fine. But for a stock v6 I would be cautious.

Reverse Ys sork badly and are not worth the time, effort or the final results...
H pipes are not needed for V6es because of the firing order of the cylinders...
