Order #
Hi all,new to the forum.
I have a few questions maybe people had same experience...Here goes.
I went to my local dealer and asked if they had or if they could locate a 2011 V6 W/6speed manual with the Power Package. So the salesman tells me they dont have any and none are in the area from other dealerships. Ok so I tell him to order me one and ask him for order#,Order # not available at that moment.
On 10/19 I go to dealership and ask salesman for order#, I am told only manager can get that info and hes not in yet(hmmmm). So I leave me cell# and go home, while home I search internet and I find another dealership 20 miles away that has the exact mustang I am looking for.
1.How could dealer have missed this other mustang 20 miles away?
2.You think dealership is stroking me? What would they get out of it?
3.Should I just go and buy mustang from other dealership?
Just looking for some helpful answers.
Thanks all

welcome
If the dealership would have truly looked, they would have seen the other car at the dealership. I assume they will be making more by selling you a car they order, rather than getting a car from another dealership to sell you.
As far as what to do, if the car is what you want and it's a better deal, I say the answer is a no brainer.....go get it!
Good luck.

when i went to buy my stang i went through the same issue. i new a dealer down the road had the vehicle but the one i wanted to buy it from would give me a better trade in and my friend was going to sell me the car. So they wanted to order one. I waited the 3 extra days for them to order and get it to me. Really came down to helping a buddy out.
If i were you i would go buy the other stang right now
