What do you guys think of this. Was thinking of getting it since its on special. I plan on keeping it black as will match the rocker panels. I just sold my set of v6 wheels so looking to put some of that money back into my car.

My friend has that one on his sixxer and I'm pretty sure it didn't come black it was like a greyish primer color. He painted it himself and judging by the reviews I'm pretty sure you would have to paint it black which wouldn't be difficult.

Eddie, that is correct! The chin spoiler comes primed in light gray and has to be painted. I went to advanced autoparts and bought a couple cans of GLOSS black paint. At first, I tried using semi gloss and it did not look good. The gloss paint matched the rockers OK, but not perfect.
Feel free to check out pics in my garage. ;-)
05windveil, Do you have a custom tune w/ your Airaid CAI?? If not, i would highly recommend. =-)

The box will be huge sitting at your door step!
You can also check body shops for paint quotes too. I chose to use the auto spray paint because it was very inexpensive. I purchased 2 cans, which were only $7 each.
Be careful when parking around parking blocks and sidewalks....
Look forward to seeing the pics!

i'm pretty confident in my skill to try the spray paint, its not going to be an attempt at clearing and gloss/shiny so.....

On that same not i'm in the process of slowly spraying my winter truck with the spray can bedliner stuff, i'm starting off with the part below the body line/trim to see how it turns out and so far so good

heh.. I bought a truck and had it all set up to store my mustang in the garage, made a lot of sense because i live 1 mile from work and within 10 miles of anywhere I wanna go so gas wouldn't be bad.... now I may be getting a promotion which will be at least an hour drive to and from where I may go... or I'll sell my place and try to find another..
