2007 Shelby vs 2011 v6
Hiya everyone!
I'm looking at finally buying my 1st Mustang. My wife and I are on a limited budget so we're not doing anything outrageous, and we've narrowed our choices down to two cars, the new 2011 v6 premium (pony package) or 2007 Shelby GT. The 2007 Shelby is used (of course) with 40k miles under its belt and a clean vehicle history. I haven't had a chance to borrow it from the dealer and take it to a mechanic to have it evaluated.
Aside from being a Shelby, the GT is a few thousand dollars cheaper than the 2011 v6. Still, the v6 has a great interior and is fresh and new. Does anyone have any thoughts on what they would do? Thanks!

Yeah, there is a BIG difference between a Shelby GT500 and a Shelby GT. If it's a GT, I would get the 2011 V6. Being that it's a new car and still under warranty with lots of hp to boot. Now if it's a GT500, I would get that because down the road if you take care of it, it will be more valuable as a collector car. Not to mention it has incredible hp as well!
