Don't take my word for it, but, since you removed the ground wire from the battery, giving all that positive current nowhere to go... You may have fried something

Did you read the directions right? From what I know, you ALWAYS disconnect the POSITIVE first

But - maybe I'm havin a brainfart

Shouldn't make a difference. I would take both cables off again. Let it sit about 10 min and then make sure they are clean before re-installing them. Then when you get in the car turn the key to the on position and let it sit until it cycles thru the start up sequence. Then try to start it...

Removing which cable from the terminal depends on if the car has a negative ground or a positive ground. Although most cars do have negative grounds, you would remove the black one first.

Remove The Negative Cable First,
Re-connect The Negative Cable Last

NO and absolutely NO!

Do NOT remove the positive first, unless you like to live your live on the edge and I mean edge. There is a reason there is a RED cover the positive terminal.

It may be your battery is weak and by you taking your negative off, it doesn't have enough juice to crank. Can anyone give you a jump?
