while I was in Florida , went to P.B.I.R. and made a few runs , there were some awesome cars there , 2 gtr s 11.0/ 10.4 in the quarter . lots of mustangs , although I was the only sixxer out there , I had some good runs , I treed a lot of people ! . but due to tires and a slipping clutch , times were unimpressive 13.4@107.8 best 60' was a terrible 2.16 . I also weighed my car , she come s in at 3490 which I though was heavy , my friends Grand national is a full frame car and only weighs 70 pounds more !first vid. I lit a close red -.010 to his 1.86 no he didn't catch me !/ second vid. great light .007 to his 1.034 he ran 11.8 @113.8, caught me here

lol I know right ! definitely clutch is next , but rear , tranny ,and tire s are in the future
oh , and there was a guy there with a grabber blue 5.0 with a c.a.i and tune . ran 12.7@115 !!!! did I mention he bought it new for 25 grand !

 

25 grand? Thats crazy. But be careful with the T5 and a clutch... If you shift in the torque curve 3rd gear is toast!

thanks ! not bad for no traction or slipping clutch ! I noticed on my time slip I lost 3-4 mph in the 1/8 compared to last time I ran , but 1/4 mile speed was the same . . .weird !
I asked him about it , he said the dealer was losing money on it , that it had been sitting there for some time , another guy there had a black one with 3.73 gears , he said he paid 27 for his !!! WTF !! are you hitting the track this year ?? you know they got a procharger for your car now , its like 400+ hp to the wheels , at only 8 psi !!! I think your gonna start seeing some crazy fast 11 sixxers this year
