I got some 17X8 bullitt rims to put on my car... what tire size would everyone recommend going with? I want to go wide and low profile.

255/45/17 or 255/40/17 any lower profile and you will have a noisey rockhard ride. I think you can go mixed width as well 255 on front and 265 on rear. Don't think 265 will fit front.

I have 17 x 9 on my car and I put 245-45/R17. They fit really well. But I am not sure if that tire will fit on your rim. It is lower profile than stock, but still gives a good ride and great handling. Here are some pics...but I am not going to tell you where I got them cause I don't want you to think I am spaming . I put the 04 SVT Cobra Rims on my car. They fit perfectly!

I am running 18x9 bullitts on my car but when i made the choice in tire size i made sure to stay very close to the stock tire height of 27 inches. I have 255/45/18 front and back the height is 27.3 inches that way you don't have to regear your speedo. I put on the same size all around so i could rotate later after i smoke the rear tires.
