T-Lok Advice
Haha gotta keep your eyes open guys. Every once in a while a deal will pop up that's too good to pass on
All you need for it to be V6 ready is a $20 Cobra pinion flange
I hate you! Lol $250 is a steal to say the least
Well I was checking out Newtakeoff and they dont offer 3.73s with their 8.8s that come V6 ready. I'm thinking of just going with 3.55s with the 8.8 and decide later if I want to go with a different set of gears. I'll keep everyone posted when everything is all done. Thanks for your help guys

Worst modding decision I ever made was to try to build up the 7.5 - bent the pinion on CAI, tune and Mickey Thompsons. Second worst decision was thinking I could rebuild it for less to get by.
When I finally bought the 8.8 (because I knew it would never hold up to a nitrous shot, and then I also knew that the blower was going on at some point) it was LESS than either of the attempts to build the 7.5. I could have bought 3 of the 8.8's for what it cost me to build one and then rebuild it after blowing it out. Don't even bother trying to build the 7.5, even if you have no intention of racing or going forced induction, it is cheaper to simply buy the 8.8 and swap the rear end.

8.8 is the logical choice these days. especially if power add-ons are in your future. i've recently been convinced. i don't push my car enough to move up now but it's definitely on my list the day i can make the X purchase. regarding the 3.73 ratio, love it.

Glad to see you're still around Raider fan lol, I have been convinced that 8.8 is the way to go. I knew I could count on this forum to guide me in the right direction. I doubt I'll be going F/I anytime soon, I'm just about to hit 100K and I heard it isn't wise to go supercharged with a high mileage engine. I've been saving some $$ for gears/t-lok but its definitely gonna be an 8.8 now. Thanks again everybody
I didn't put the Xcharger on my car until I had 90,000 miles on it, and I have 171,000 on it now with no problems. I even ran the car with nitrous for two race seasons before the Xcharger so my engine hasn't seen an easy life.
