Trust we hate it too but it is the law. They say, it's so traffic cameras as well as gas station videos can catch red light runners and gas thieves. They get you coming and going.
The state would save more $ if they only issued you one plate per vehicle but try telling that to our closed minded senators and congressmen.

Not even close, heavier than a metal hood even...
The stock hood is much lighter, that's why Ford uses aluminum hoods on most models.

Actually front license plates are useful when cops laser/radar your car. It is the first thing they shoot for.

project 85-The funny thing is we arnt a big fan of red. I got mine cause it was the only manual i could find at the time and my girl had hers cause she worked at a dodge dealer.

MustangFirstCar and 07 Stang- yes front license plates suck. 07 stang would know personally ha. I would much rather stick a custom one from americanmuscle or something but i cant.

Pascal- You are 110% right one that one. Like i said it was free and i love it so i have i on. I know they sell carbon fiber ones that are wayyyy lighter than the aluminum hoods but they are $1799.99 from what i saw but considering that the stock aluminum hood cost $1400 roughly i dont think thats to bad.

Yeah, the price of the stock hood is such a joke that I'm sure Ford doesn't sell too many of those.
The $1800 carbon fiber one is actually cheaper since you don't have to paint it necessarily.
