Free / Cheap Mod Thread
It can be nerve racking at times, I hear ya there. I used to do 12v installs and sell mobile electronics so I've got some background in it. I'm doing an install guide for AM and I took a ton of pictures so hopefully it will be even easier for people that do it in the future.
No such thing as a free or "cheap" mod as far as talking virtually spending no money when it comes to performance mods.
There are many do it yourself appearance mods you can do that are dirt cheap that add a nice touch to the car.
Such as using VHT nightshades to tint your tail lights etc.
"Cheap" performance mods meaning bone *** cheap almost nothing is something the ricer people often try to conjure up.
Save your money for quality mods and be proud you took the time to do so.
The easy cheap road almost always leads to failure in the end, regardless of what subject you are looking to make strides in.
BTW. You have a nice car. It deserves to have nice quality mods that ensure not only good performance gains, but smooth operation and long life.
My advice is don't even WANT to go searching down that road.

To others like me that were scratching their heads, check out http://ecomodder.com/wiki/index.php/Belly_pan
Somewhere on the site there's a post about drilling/mounting Shelby CS-style fog lights using Wal-mart fogs with PVC pipe for housing. Seem to remember the guy used larger-but-not-headlight-sized lights, maybe 4 or 5 inch. Or maybe that's just what I thought I wanted to do after reading the post.
