Default Traction Control

How do I know if my Mustang has it? It's a 2007 V6.

You'd have a button on the dash above the radio that say says T/C and has a LED on it. It would be next to the HAZARD lights.

FYI.

Its a kinda nice thing to have to some folks but others see it as a hassle.
It's not a real special thing by any means.

Usually if you have ABS, traction control is included as well. Interestingly enough, yes, you have a button to turn it off. Default is ON at startup. I'm not sure... but I wonder if there was a way you could set up the car so that the default would be... OFF?

You can ask your tuner to turn it off for you. I have also heard people be able to do it by playing with the wiring.

No doubt. It was just a thought. I'm pretty careful to keep the wheels from breaking loose... what with the price of tires and all. Though I gotta say, last spring I knew the snow tires were roasted so... I "played" a little bit and smoked 'em up real nice a few times....

Too funny......

I have installed a "Relay mod" that defaults the TCS to off and then if you want you can turn it back ON. Contrary to always have it OFF by the SCT I can put I back ON anytime if it starts raining or the weather gets nasty.
