@4LITER6,

Did you start first with the regular X-Charger, then upgrade to the Xtreme Intercooler kit? If so, what were your impressions post intercooler install? Was it worth it in your opinion? Did you notice a big difference in terms of "seat of your pants" performance and power?

I'm really getting that itch to add the Xtreme Intercooler. LOL!

Hells yeah ! it nice to be part of the 4.0 F.I. community , The 5.0's and 3.7,s are nice , but I love my car's body style and don't think I could ever part with her !

Agreed. If I ever wanted to go V8 I will probably just buy a GT and keep the 6 how it is.

I went from the non-hipo calif spec.(GTairbox), 3" pulley, then added the hipo intake......stayed with 3" pulley........

Canned tune....234 rwhp 266 rwtq cal spec. 3"
Dynotuned with Gt airbox 3" 246 271
Dynotuned with Hipo intake 3" 263 276

Intercooler added with 2.6 pulley...and xtreme intake (polished Stainless) 301 326

Intercooler added some KICK *** to the seat of your Pants.....

Started at 234 rwhp ended up with 301........91octane.....

By all means, eat less, drink cheap beer....be a cheap date, but get the Intercooler IMHO!!

Wow! So just by adding the intercooler, sounds like you gained 67HP...damn, I really want one now!

That comment about the cheap beer was perfectly timed! I just added some wine to my grocery list and literally thought to myself, "Do I really want that? That's money that could go towards the intercooler."

And I wish I could be a cheap date. But I'm married, so my problem is bigger. I gotta find a way to hide money from her now so she doesn't blow through it on stupid ****.

Thanks for posting your numbers and the great insight.

Me too. I'd upgrade to a 5.0 and keep my baby how she is.
