That price is absolutely outrageous. I paid $400 for gear install, the gears, and all the fluids. Also personally with the T5 I would go with the 373s just because how short the gears are. I have 4.10s now with my tr3650 and they are perfect but the tr3650 is geared really tall compared to the T5. And I paid in the $250 range for the actual axle install.

yea seems pretty high to me but i figured it would be since the shop is the best mustang shop in louisiana so theyre basically able to charge what they want. im gonna be looking around at some other places. and yea after doing more research im gonna stick with 3.73s

Gonna throw in my vote for a different shop and 4.10s. That is way too high, and you will need the acceleration from the 4.10s (you don't really seem to need top end).

yea im in the process of doing it. i found one place thatll do all the labor (including swapping rear ends) for $600. but it seems that the going rate around here is more expensive than most ppl got their work done for. you used to live in louisiana do you have any suggestions?

PM me with your e-mail and I'll send you a spreadsheet that you can plug in your tranny and gears (and tire OD) and get your speed vs RPM.
