Oh I love insomnia when I have to work.

I've also realized I need a new grill with these bumpers, Since I am putting in the PIAA I don't want the fog lights (not really a fan of them honestly) and the only grill I can find that is the stock honeycomb is the BULLIT grill.
Cheapest I can find is $280! No way in hell i'm doing that haha.
I did find a fix I believe, what do you guys think of this?

I would paint it black and I guess cut it to the dimensions I need.
Good idea or bad? Still going to keep on looking honestly.

That is awful man, don't do it. If you want a cheap, fog-less GT grille, check this out.

I've heard the paint isn't great but otherwise its a decent grille, and its not expensive.

^ +1 for the retro grille from American Muscle.
I have it on my V6 w/ a GT bumper and CDC chin and I love the look.

Here are some pics

FYI, the gloss paint has come off of most of my grille, but it still looks good because the metal is black. It is a LOT cheaper than the alternative grilles though.

for the exhaust, its best to get something your gonna like for awhile, and its better to save money and not skimp out.

1. a friend of mine has the pypes system on his, im not meaning to rag on them bc a lot of ppl have them and love them but they are loud on start up and LOW rpms, but above 2500/3k it starts to sound more and more like a ricer...

2. i got the frpp kit but w/ GTB because they are lower than the GTA, but not as loud when you get on the gas. idle was minimal sound, and it was decent while driving. good kit for starters and it fits great and also comes with replacement down pipes and X. i eventually spent the $$$ and got FR500S/KR mufflers and HOT DAM!! the best sounding 6 ive ever hear! lol

to get an H pipe you will need to go to a muffler shop, there are no kits. u could pick up a cheap one from a GT500 or GT and get a muffler shop to modify it (if necessary) to fit and make you a driver side down pipe, the you can run any axle back you want.

+1 for AM grill, mine is CDC nearly the same thing just CDC is a bit thicker in depth.

and think if you really want a fogless grill, im going to put them behind my bullit brill one day.

If you do get the retro grill or any other open one and your car is not black, I suggest you paint the part of the frame or body or whatever just behind the grille satin black. When I got my bullit grille it was really obvious to me, so I had the shop paint it black. Looks alot better now.
