Default Heater Broken?

Sorry in advance if this is the wrong forum... Umm, my heater in my 2006 isn't working. The AC is fine though. I don't want to take it to the stealership to get it repaired so I was wondering if maybe this was a simple component that needed replacing or something. Is there anything I should look for in particular?

DIANOSTICS
Have the DiagnosticTroubleCodes read
and refer to the Diagnostic Chart.

Check to see it the heater hoses are hot
when the engine is hot and the
climate control is set to HEAT.

Check the coolant overflow tank to see
if the coolant level is inbetween the
low and high marks.

Could just be a bad COLD/HOT selector switch...
The ClimateControlModule should spit out a
DTC when asked to if something is wrong.

Did you recently change the antifeeze/coolant? It so there may be an airpocket which will cause the lack of heat.
