Thumbs up New guy here

wassup everyone, my name is Sean, I live down here in Crestview Florida. I got stationed down here with my unit in July and I love it so far. Anyway, I just bought a 2010 Mustang Convertible, V6, auto, silver with black interior. so far all I've done to it is I ran straight pipes from the converter back out and kept it single exhaust like the factory had it. other than that, nothing, was wondering what you guys could suggest for some quick HP without hard hitting on my wallet just yet. Thanks guys look forward to the responses...

I kinda figured the CAI as well, seeing as how that's usually one of the first things I do. But just wondering if it was worth it, didn't seem to do much in my charger just made it a little louder. any suggestions on the tuner?

Any ideas where I can get a package deal on a CAI and Tuner?

the tune is what really makes the difference. When looking at cai's make sure to get one requiring a tune.

Another thing that makes the throttle response quicker is to recaliberate the throttle. (FREE)
1. turn key on (don't start the car)
2. wait a few seconds (5-10)
3. slowly and steadily press the gas pedal to the floor, and let it back up at the same speed
4. turn key off
5. do this a few times and the throttle will feel a little cleaner

+1 on the CAI & Custom tune. American Muscle is one of the best. Brenspeed and VMP are 2 other excellent tuners. Their tunes are top notch.

A stand-alone CAI on the S197 is virtually useless for power gains.
