Default 8.8 rear end

Anyone know where I can still get one of these???
I've got an X charger in the mail and I think an 8.8 would go hand in hand with the x

How does JimC obtain them? And do they come with the stock gears or have they been upgraded with 3.73 and 4.11? Tigercrazy if you don't mind, can you PM me what you paid for them? It's the last performance upgrade I wanna do to my Mustang and I'd consider it if the price is right.

Thanks for the info. Just curious to those of you who did upgrade to 8.8 what the heck did you do with the stock rear end from our cars? Just scrap it or what?

I left mine at the shop that did my gear/axle swap... I'm sure they just scrap it. If worse comes to worse you can always buy an 8.8 from AM although its a bit pricey.

Might as well keep it, IMO. Only if you have room though. The way I see it, it might be worth something to someone somewhere down the road.
