Default Interior LED

Ok I saw on another forum of an individual who replaced all the green lights in his car, it obviously it requires soldering new led's, but I can do that part of it, my question is with individuals who know about the gauge cluster, I know there is the my color cluster you can get, but can I crack it open and solder some new led's on it.

Yes, you can do that, but I would no recommend it unless you actually know what you are doing. Would suck to accidentally solder the wrong thing in the wrong place or some such.

I'm not worried about the soldering aspect of it, just wanted to know if it can be done.

If anyone has instructions or can lead me to a youtube video of someone doing this I would appreciate it as well! A couple of areas on my MyColor cluster have faded and I'd like to replace/repair them. As with the original poster, wiring and soldering are the least of my concerns. Just need to see some basic info and Ford is not helpful as they'd rather sell you the whole cluster (like the light bulb in the headlight switch that most people don't even know exists)
