I have no problems with mine. Dont worry about being picky, you spent a lot of money, take it to the dealership and have them fix it!!!

RE: keyless remote problems opening trunk?
Mine takes a pretty good push to get it to pop. It's not as easy as my 2001 Taurus. I had a problem with the plastic housing that holds the trunk light. It broke and hangs down on one side. I need to get it fixed at the next service. Also, my trunk light doesn't always come on right away. Anyone else having those problems?

I have this problem as well. I think it is the weather proofing sticking to the truck, but i'm not sure. I just lift alittle while i click the remote and it comes open. I'm gonna be bringing her in as well to get that fixed.

Save yourself some time and a "Dealership Headache"..... If the trunk solenoid fires & the latch releases, but the trunk lid doesn't raise, the weatherstripping is sticking, just coat it with armor-all or silicone spray. If it fires, but the latch dosen't release, it is probably binding due to too tight assembly.
shut your trunk, put your back seat down, crawl in and click away. If the little solenoid ain't firing, there could be a bad contact in the remote. "A bigger hammer will fix most problems."

I tend to troubleshoot my old computers with a big hammer. It fixes it real fast. AND is good for stress relief. But a big hammer. . . and me Bonnie Stang. . . . nu uh. They mix like Peas and Smog. Y'know?
