I personally bought the screaming demon pack with their live wires and the wider gap as recommended and personally I didn't feel any gain, in fact I wondered if it would miss on occasion, it didn't smooth my idle or anything they promise it cost me around 220 (100 pack, 80 wires and 40 plugs) and then an additional 40 for new stock gaped plugs and time to put the stock pack back on..
Idk about the 04 model but on our 4.0 I say DONT DO IT coulda saved me $180 plus the time I wasted.

My friend swears it will make a difference, but he had a '99 4.6L...

Thanks.
unless you have supercharger as i was advised

I just put the coil, taylor wires, and regaped my current plugs. And I couldn't be happier. For one, there is improved throttle response, and my car pulls more in third gear now. Also, there was extreme drone with my Pypes Dual Exhaust system from 1000-3000 RPM, and the drone is completely gone. I only heard it last night going up a fairly steep hill.

According to the O-Scope, the 4 year old OEMs were just
loosing their ability to deliver the full spark to the plug.
The outer jackets are cracking and are just good enough
to live thru the 3 year warranty period. Period.

I am still looking for a replacement candidate.
They will not be of the 'spiral core' design.

Hey, I didn't buy it at first either, but the drone is legitimately gone now. I put the coil on, wires, and opened the gaps on the plugs. So that means a more efficient spark and burn, right? Which means a slight power increase and better throttle response, so therefore, it makes sense with an increased power curve that the exhaust note changed.

Foolish me, the drone was soo bad on my borla stingers, I put resonators on, then ripped out the entire interior and trunk and dynamatted, still drone... all I had to do was change the coil and plug wires.. .hahaha! (ends sarcasm)

I'm not being a smart guy here, it legitimately got rid of the drone I had.
