Default Changed plugs

Today I changed out my spark plugs and wire. I an thinking they are the original plugs. When I removed them, they were a color between black and brown and some burn spots on them. I am starting small on the mods and working my way up.

Aussiemick,

Changing your spark plugs is always a good idea to get your Mustang running in top shape. What spark plugs did you switch to after pulling the old ones? Also, post up a picture of the plug, it's much easier to read a very close up picture than a description.

That being said, the proper way to read a spark plug is to go wild open throttle, then immediately turn the engine off and coast to a stop. Once pulled over, check the spark plugs on the spot. Of course, we recommend doing this at the track or on a dyno, instead of the streets, too!
