Today I logged in to My Ford site and I found this notice concerning my 2013 Convertible V6 Mustang:



I don't know anything about the mechanics of a car I wonder if this would have anything to do with the fact that my 0-60 MPH takes a whooping 6.7 seconds

When I floor it from Idle, I feel there is a lag until the acceleration starts then it becomes fast

Ill call the dealer in the morning

 

I took the car to the service center and they booked me an appointment on Sunday @ 11:30 to fix this. It will take 2 hours to reprogram the power train

I wasn't able to speak to a service adviser but they will explain the issue to me on Sunday

 

After that, you'll likely still feel like she's a pig off the line. A good custom tune will fix that.

Don't sweat the recall. It's likely not the last one you'll see.

 

so basically, what will I feel improved after they do this power train reprogramming? what is currently affected in terms of performance or my car I have no idea what this power train does or is
