The stock GT grille doesn't fit correctly in the Pony or Base Mustangs. You would need the GT front fascia to make it fit correctly. There are a couple other grilles that are made for the Base/Pony Mustangs to fit the lock tabs. The GT grilles do not match the tabing at all. AM has these grilles as does CJ Pony and other name companies.

The one you choose is a good fit. I was just making sure you didn't order a V8 grille. Good luck.

his link says its a GT style grill for a v6, so i'm assuming that means itll fit and he doesnt need the front bumper. and no the grill is just held in with tabs i think. i was able to swap the grill without taking off anything except for the cover on the front of the engine bay

With this grille, (I have the same one) you may have to move the horn bracket around or do like I did and cut it in the middle and reversed it so it would clear the right side light. It wasn't hard but did take some thinking on how to do it so it fit good and didn't hit. You may also have to take a small amount of the front radiator support and remove it for it to clear on insertion. I used a jig saw to get a clean, smooth line. It actually looks cleaner and besides, it isn't seen. Good luck. It's a nice grille.

Simple removal of the grille and replacement. Just pull the six mount tabs on the radiator support cover. Remove it and the grille is wide open. The instructions say to remove the 2 10mm headed bolts that hold the front bumper at the support. The grille has a bunch of tabs that just unclip. It's out.

Don't forget to get a wiring harness for the lights. You will need the adapters for the Pony Package. (GT use a H10 and the PP use H11). Other than that, you are golden with your factory harness for your PP. Have fun.

Yep, the wiring is not included...
Gt a GT headlight switch as well for the
Factory appearance and operation...
You will need to do some tricky wiring and
need a fog light relay and a fuse holder...
