If I auto-up both windows and then shut the car off while they are going up, they will both go back down to about halfway.

Just wondering if I should try to recalibrate. They work perfectly fine in every other way.

I had that happen today, driver only. Hit the switch, cut the ignition, and the window went down.

I didn't think anything about it other than to think it odd.

Reset may have worked. Last 3 times I have went out have been fine. I have been dealing with the issue ever since I got the car 8 months ago, so I still get anxious turning the key off too quickly. haha.

Just wait to hit the switch until after you cut the ignition, or do it before hand.

Not that hard to adjust to. I don't even think of it as an issue, as I normally adjust my volume, turn off my GPS and make sure my windows are up after I cut the switch.

I get baffled when some new technology comes along and changes the way that we have done something for decades, and no one seems to comprehend how to go back to the old way.

Hi guys,

My name is Deysha with Ford Service. I recommend you bring your vehicles in to your Ford dealers and have them checked out. Then, PM me with your VIN, dealer, mileage, full name, and best daytime number so I can escalate this to the customer service manager for your area.

Deysha
