Mustang 2013 V6 sucks real bad
Someone please explain to meh how does this work...
If a Mustang 2010 GT has 315 BHP and does 0-60 in 4.9 seconds....
how come the new Mustang 2013 V6 Convertible (my car) does the 0-60 in 6.4 seconds?
10 bhp more on the GT will cause all this much improvement?
I feel my 2013 V6 is a turtle ....the slownness happens at the initial stage when I push down the throttle....after the 40 MPH....its goes fast but before that it's very slow

That is not the engine's fault, and is not related to your horsepower rating. It has to do with the fact that your factory gearing ratio is very high to preserve fuel economy. I'm guessing you have the stock 2.73 gears? That and the fact that the 3.7 makes a little less torque (and I think at higher RPM) than the 4.6L, will lead you to feeling that initial "turtle" slowness off the line.
You need aggressive gearing that will put you in your powerband faster, I would suggest you ask in the 3.7 tech section and see what your options are for gear upgrades and start researching places in Dubai that can do the work for you (unless you have a vast array of tools, and lots of experience doing gear swaps I would not recommend you try this mod yourself).

don't get me wrong, it is fast. I've raced and smoked V8 Toyota Land Cruisers here in Dubai. It's just the initial start up which is horrible.
when you press the gas pedal to the metal, you don't get that sudden burst of speed, instead, it seems like the car is taking a huuuuge breathe..and then starts to speed like crazy...but until it starts...you would have lost 2 seconds already from that 0-60 timing

The bigger factor of what was already mentioned is the torque but the others also do factor in. Don't be a wuss by waiting for the warranty to expire to make the car be what you want it to be.

Also you are not driving a old school throttle by wire car, everything is cotrled by electronics. When you hit the gas it takes a sec for the computer to tell the TB to open and move. That fact was the biggest difference to me from my 95.
