Default Weird ticking and car is stuttering

Ok so this all happened on the drive to work this morning. Last time I drove the car (last Thursday I think) it was running perfectly fine. This morning I notice my car shaking a little from side to side and some hesitation and stuttering on acceleration. I turn off the radio, and I can hear a ticking noise from the engine bay, and notice my exhaust note seems to be kind of stuttering some what. No codes being thrown at all and all the gauges read normal. When I get to work I open the engine bay and the ticking is definitely coming from the driver's side of the block. I fiddle with some wires like the plugs and the MAF but everything seems secure. So here is a video of the sound:

I'm going to take the car to the shop tomorrow morning, but if we can figure it out before then I'm all for it. I hope it doesn't keep me from running the car this weekend. Thanks in advance everyone!

someone on the collective suggested exhaust leak. could that make that loud of a ticking sound? could certainly explain why the exhaust sounded a bit different

It sounds like you might have a spark plug that is either not tightened down all of the way or perhaps damaged threads in one of your spark plug wells. It seems the most common one to have issues is cylinder #2 on the 4.0l v6. Did you recently change the plugs or anything?
