And was the factory driver side pipe necessary considering you also purchased a mid-pipe? Seems like kind've a waste if they cut it down anyway? Would the shop of fabbed something for you?

Hey guys,
for the X pipe can i use like a GT one, like one offered from bassani's site, or do i have to buy the pipe and have it cumtom welded?

Well, like, you might use one like that. But most of the X-pipes I have seen with "pipes" attached eliminate the cats--which was a route I did not want to go. The answer really is "maybe, but I'm not sure."

I suspect the JBA "true dual" (with H-pipe as I recall, so it isn't really a true dual) might be the closest to what you're wanting to do...

I used the 2.5" stainless Magnaflow X-pipe (dealer on eBay) for $75.

No, it doesn't just pop in there--it takes a short piece of pipe on both sides that has to be bent to connect from the pipes coming out of the cats. So, it is patched in...

The best pics I've seen are from Afixer---I attempted to copy his dual setup. Look through this whole thread---it was my inspiration!

It turns out that my X-pipe sits towards the rear end a few inches more than Afixer's, but it doesn't seem to have created any problems.

Hrm...I have them hosted on a public site (too big for my IPS's pages...).

Check again later today, or tomorrow. They might even be gone for good from that site---if they aren't downloaded for some period of time, they are deleted from the system....

I just downloaded the first two files just fine...check again...
