Default Rim size question

I was thinking of buying some rims off a buddy's Saleen. They are 275/40/20 with a bolt pattern of 5X4.5 and a offset of +45MM. Think they will fit?

Yea they should, because all mustangs have the same bolt set up, well at least to my knowledge they do. Also your are referring to 20" right? Personally I don't like any rims bigger than 18" on a stang unless the car is lowered and many other people will agree, now, if the rims look tight, and I do mean tight, then by all means try to get them for a good deal, just might want to consider how they will look on your generation.

I usually don't like the look of 20's on Stangs, but the 20's that come on the Saleens look damn good.

i'm a little confused... the 275/40/20 would be the tire size... the 5X4.5 with +45 offset is the rim size... The rim should be ok as jt mentioned... the offset on the stock V6 is either +38 or +39... going to depend on the tire I think... whether it will rub or not..

now the 275/40/20 is a HUGE tire... it's almost 2 inches taller than stock! were you planning on putting the tires on or just the rims? If you're thinking about putting that tire on we need to talk! LOL!

ya, that would be the tire size that is on the tires... 275/40/20. The rim size is 20X10. I might be able to get them for a good price. They are stock off an 05 saleen. I know they are big tires to go with, but they look hot!

wow.. that tire is like 28.7 inches tall! Ok.. it should fit in the back no problem.. I'm not so sure up front though... I'm still running the stock tires up front... I will tell you that a 28.7 inch tire on the back will make your car feel pretty doggy off the line... you just won't have the same punch as with a 27 inch (stock) tire... I know first hand... I had 28.5 BFGs on the back... Now if you plan changing out the rear gears that's a different story... but for the stock 3.31s... you will notice a difference...
