Default Magnaflow

Hey everybody, just joined the forum. Had my 05 since April and can't get enough of the car. Been reading posts in here for a few weeks. I am looking at getting the cat-back magnaflow system for my 6 (true dual look) and was wondering if the sytem comes with all the hardware needed for installation or is there anything extra like hangers that I need to purchase? Also if you have the magnaflows how do you like em?

The system will come with everything you need to do the install. I have Magnaflows on my '04 and I love them, they have a very nice sound.

I have dual Magnaflows on my 05 and love them. They not only add some pep, and the sound is great. I like it because its not too loud but it can have a annoying drone on the highway. I am very pleased with them.

Really MHShockey30, i thought magnaflows were supposed to have a lot less highway drone? Thats why i couldn't take the flowmasters on my old truck.

maybe you're thinking of Borla? I have heard they have the least drone of any exhaust.

I've got the dual magnaflow kit on my car too. I really love'em! They take about 3 to 5 minutes to really warm up and sounds good, but I have not noticed an annoying drone on the highway. It is a little hard to get the drivers side pipe far enough away from the spare tire well though. It may take a couple of time to adjust the pipes so it does not hit. I've got pictures of the install on my site. I still need to cut my bumper, my drivers side tip is rubbing against my bumper and burning it!! That part will be cut away soon anyway. I will eventually get the GT rear bumper.

I have the same kit and love it. I posted sound clips of it in this forum just this past Sunday. The minidv I used to record it dosent do it justice, but it will still give you an idea of the sound. I went with Magnaflow because I wanted a deep, mustang sound...but didn't want to be so loud that I set off every car alarm in my area or tick people off.

Here is the link:

I make my niehgbors truck alarm chip in the mornings when my car starts up. I live in an apt complex though where everyone parks close. If I rev my engine, his alarm will go off.

I have the Magnaflow duals. The best price I have seen is $379 at Complete Exhaust. Their website says $479, but call them, they should be on sale still.

And I love them as well. I had mine professionally installed, because I figure whats another $150 bucks for a $30K+ car! I also ordered the complete GT body kit from ebay. Paid $550 plus shipping from this guy:

The body kit will be installed next week.

I am not trying to pimp these guys, but dont mind giving them a plug for good service!
