Buying my first mustang
Not sure if this is the right section, but please move it if it's not.
I came across a 2007 Mustang deluxe with the v6 engine. It does have 180,000 and the owner i'm buying it from has owned it for a year. We test drove it and there are a few quirks:
-the front suspension rattles over bumps
-my dad said he noticed it might be slipping a little
-the front and back bumper has been replaced due to accident
-the engine bay was cleaned and spotless(could they be hiding something?)
-we only brought it up to 30 miles an hour, but at the end of the test drive there was a smell that was almost like a burning smell. Does this mean it has overheating issues or is that oil?(there was no blue smoke coming out of the exhaust)
I just need to know what all of this could mean and cost me if I do buy it. The guy is asking $4,500, but what do you think?

Everyone always adds that "save your money and get a GT." Well when I bought my '07 brand new right off the truck, I had previously owned 3 other Mustangs and 2 were GTs. I didn't like the look of the fog lights on the GT as much as the Pony Package. Sure, it's only a sixxer, but I don't drive it that much so I don't need the extra cylinders. It only has 13k miles on it and is a garage queen. Drive it on pretty days only. No regrets here....paid for the day I bought it.
