I put 12" lemans stripes on the hood of my 2008 mustang, they're wider in the middle than on the top and bottom of the hood. Just want to know if this is normal or did i screw it up?

 

I had my driver's door stripe too high, the vendor sent me just that section to replace. I peeled off the old, cleaned up around it and put the new ones on right.
Perhaps you can contact the vendor for just the hood portion and try again.
