Default control arm/tie rod end replacement questions

hi all, new guy here. just bought a beautiful '05 convertible that needs lower control arms and tie rod ends. have all the parts and a fair amount of mechanical savvy but asking if there are any pitfalls to look out for when doing this job. i've seen a couple of videos and it looks like it's not rocket science but youtube videos are usually worth what you pay for them. open to any suggestions from forum members that have actually done it. thanks

not much to it as you've found out. for the fronts, you don't need to mess with the steering rack. just turn the wheel all the way to the opposite side your working on and you can move the boot out of the way to get the front bolt out. use a chisel or something like that to "spread" the knuckle away from the lower ball joint, after you remove the bolt of course, itll fall right out. the rear lower control arms are basically a RR. the upper takes a bit more work but not terrible. welcome to the forum, enjoy your pony and good luck!
