Do you know where I could find a sound clip of the dual magnaflows? I'd like to hear some on a V6 before I buy them.

i've heard that the MAC CAI is better than the AEM because it draws from the fender. what does drawing from the fender mean, and is the MAC a better intake to get?

I don't believe the mac draws from the fender. It's just a conically shaped filter without an inlet tube, much like the Steeda or MMR (you can add a tube to this one).

my personal favorites are
jba true duals (imo they sound the best) ...this runs for about 570 on v6mustangstuff
AFE CAI (good gain, no retune required) ...this runs from mid to low 200's anywhere

What extra has to be done to install true duals as opposed to cat-backs?

the true duals have each exhaust pipe connect directally to your headers, while the others use a y-pipe, which just splits your original exhaust pipe in half

sorry to steal the forum, but do you ever get a ricey sound from the true duals on the v6? cuz essentially the sound your getting out of each tube is just 3 cylinders...

the jba and gt-take offs (which are both true duals) sound much less ricey than the y-pipe mangaflow for the v6 (no offence maganaflow people)
