Default Intro and uncategorized post

Hello all. Thanks for the add. I have an 05 Legend Lime base coupe that I've had for about 7 years. Last month the V6 gave up on me. 205k miles. I thought it was time to move on from her. But a quick study on new/used prices and their respective interest rates convinced me to put a new motor in her. In the past two years I replaced the headlight bezels, the struts, and the rear control arms. I also had to replace the front clip due to an accident. And the passenger fender. Aside from some stress on the driver seat, the interior is perfect. The engine arrived today and I'm waiting on the garage to get it installed. I read good things about the 4.0. What's the overall consensus?

The 4.0 is a very strong engine, takes a lot of abuse. My 2006 I ran a 75 shot of nitrous for 2 drag racing seasons, pulled the nitrous and at 90,000 miles put the Xcharger supercharger on it. When I sold it after ordering my 2013 it had 203,000 miles on it, still running mid 12's. The guy I sold it to ran it up to 245,000 on the original engine. He sold it to some collector in Indiana and I don't know what happened to it after that.
