My 2006 ford mustang keeps throwing p0401, P0059, P0053, P0455 codes, it stalls while driving needing to be put into neutral and restarted. misfires a little bit when revving at idle, and has a rough idle sometimes, I do not have this dying issue when cruise control is active and I stay at a constant speed with no breaking or when it is cold outside car has died when cold. the ac also blows hot and cold off and on during these issues. we have replaced all O2 sensors, EGR valve and a new gas cap still the same issue it keeps dying/stalling and providing these codes. I’m at a lost can’t figure out what else to replace to work down the line, I have these possible possibilities of what I could potentially replace to fix this issue but I don’t want to spend more money unless I can figure out exactly what is causing it to do this. A couple of fourms I’ve read say fuel tank, vent valve, purge valve, evap canister/charcoal canister anyone else have this issue with the evap system and ac cutting on with no codes but off when these codes are present.

 

Trying to figure out why 2006 Mustang shuts off while driving but will restart? No engine light in great condition & I’m the only owner. I’ve checked alternator & battery. Any ideas or advice? I love her!
