ok So I bought my mustang used from a dealer about a month ago and since the day i got it theres been a decently loud whine coming from the engine on acceleration and deceleration. Its not very loud when cruising but is Very noticable when slowing down. Is this normal or is something wrong with my new pony?

 

i think the dealer put the 07 cobra engine in it just to test it out, and left the supercharger in there... Lucky you!

well, mine dosent do that... and i'm pretty sure engines arent supposed to whine without a supercharger, so you might want to get it looked at.

 

It could also be the transmission (or even the rear end). Take it in and get it checked out. That's what warranties are for.
