Default What mods void warranty?

Just got a new mustang last month and I want to start adding some performance mods. My question is what modifications will void the warranty and which ones will not. If I go the route of getting a CAI and a flash tuner and exhaust etc, will I have to re-flash to stock for maintenance at the dealer. Also, can they tell you have messed with the computer tuning? Lastly, I would like to add a supercharger but suspect this will blow my warranty out of the water completely! Is this so for super/turbo chargers? Thanks a lot.

tubo/super will definatly 100% void your warrenty. Tuner, apparently, will not always void your warrenty. In my personal opinion I wouldent risk it. Cold air intake and catback will not void your warrenty unless its discovered to be the cause of a mechanical problem. Hope this helps.

No mod will totally void your entire warranty. A turbo or supercharger would pretty much hose your driveline warranty, but things that weren't affected would still have to be covered, like say your radio or windshield wiper motor dies. Those couldn't be blamed on the engine mod.

pretty much any light mod that is not welded on to you car will not void your warenty (plus they are easy to take off if you have to go to the dealership)
the tune can void it partially, but i know of people who tune their car then when they want to bring it to the dealership, they just unplug the battery the night before and and all is fine
if you do any forced induction on your car, that will just kill the warenty

however, as said before, this will only void the parts in which the car is affected by the mods, so things like sterio, tires, paint, and whatever you dealer thew into it will not be affected at all
