Best bang for the buck... Nitrous Oxide... I prefer the Zex kit...

Here's my install and results...

if you want continuous power go with the CAI...AFE one is the best w/o a tune, you can get them for 200 at rpmoutlet.com

this is 400 but i much rather go with this

Most CAI kit result in only a 8 to 10 RWHP gain.. I wouldn't spend the money on a CAI that doesn't require a tune... you're looking at even less of a gain... If you're going to be doing any modding a tuner is pretty much a necessity... For that can't I would say Chris has it right... go with Alternative Auto....

AFE has been dynoed again and again, even by people on this forum and have continually gotten a 12HP/(?)tq gain w/o a tune. Its proven!

Thanks. That kit seems to be made for the V-6 automatic. I have a manual shift, will that or any other kit work as well with the manual?

All the kits will work with the manual. You will still see improved throttle response. The thing with the automatic is there is a very annoying torque limiter in 1st gear that basically prevents you from spinning the tire! LOL! A tuner is still a good investment for a manual... especially if you plan on doing an more mods down the road..

Thanks again! I have no problem spinning the tires in 1st gear with the manual.

well i would recommend.. a CAI and xcalII combo.. I purchased mine from JMS for 499... and i went to a mustang dyno in Long Island .... after the 93 octane tune.. i improved almost by 40 RWHP... its incredible.. ill post the dyno graph as soon as i find a scanner....the car runs totally different.. with all the torque reductions lost and firmer shift points the V6 screams!!!!
