The tuners can only be used on one car at a time. So did the shop give you one as a packaged deal. You cannot use the XCAL2 on multiple cars. Or does your shop have a proprietary system?

i am not really sure how the shop does it, all i asked was "will i need to buy my own tuner or will you provide it?" and they said they would provide it

anyways, i actually sold this already (wow that was fast)

See is there 2 different ways to tune a chip? Caue when I told the guy at the shop that I wanted to get my car tuned after all my mods he asked me what year and said that they would haft to burn me a chip. What did he mean buy that? then I told him that I had some buddy's that just bought tuners and plug them into the car and tune it that way and they he gave me the option of the Diablo Tuner. Im confused? What's burning a chip? He told me that once you use that tuner for that car it for that car.

On the 05's you do not have to burn a chip, you need a tuner to reflash the computer that comes with our cars. Are you sure he is fluent with the 05's?
