Default 0-60 times manual vs auto

Any difference in the 0-60 times and 1/4 mile times of a stock v6 auto and manual trans ?

The manual has the potential to be a little quicker than the auto, with a good driver. But, the auto is really a very good slush box.

Ford likes their automatics to shift very smoothly... way to smooth! In stock form the automatic will retard the timing big time when the tranny shifts to decrease power and make those shifts silky smooth! If I remember correctly it they pull almost all the timing! Car goes from like almost 30 degrees to 0... I had a graph at one time showing it...

So a stock automatic is going to be probably about .3 to maybe .4 slower in the 0-60 time...

Now... here's were it get's interesting... I had Lidio set my shifts to "Barbaric"! My shifts are fast and hard! Lidio's hard shifting shaved .25 off my 0-60 time vs the x-cal2 I was running...

Take a look at this graph and you can see how fast Lidio's shifts are compared to "other"... you can also see where the wheels "chirp"....

Its all stock. Shift @ 5800 rpm. Kinda sketchy on launch with manual trans and not consistant. Just barely lifting between shifts.
RPM`s up to 2000K at deep stage. I let the clutch out hard but no sidestep.
